“My name is…my name is…my name is…Yosuke”

An African grey parrot escaped its cage a few weeks ago and was reunited with its owners after it was able to tell rescuers its name AND address.

Where did this happen?
Tokyo.

How did this happen?
The bird’s ASIAN, duh.

Why did this happen?
The bird’s owners believe in educasian.

According to the AP:

The Nakamura family told police they had been teaching the bird its name and address for about two years.

The Nakamuras had also been teaching the Yosuke the parrot algebra, Spanish, figure drawing, joke-telling, and the cello, just so that he would develop into a well-rounded bird with many future prospects.
