Padma Lakshmi tells Page Six Magazine this week, “I like me better naked.”
And we couldnt’ agree more. To be clear, the context of that comment is actually about being perceived as one’s genuine self:
“I don’t mean that in a vain way… When you put clothes on, you immediately put a character on. Clothes are adjectives, they are indicators. When you don’t have any clothes on, it’s just you, raw, and you can’t hide.“

As you can see, we’re experiencing some difficulty writing to the New York Post about the racist cartoon they published this week, especially after editor-in-chief Col Allen defended it, saying, “The cartoon is a clear parody of a current news event, to wit the shooting of a violent chimpanzee in Connecticut. It broadly mocks Washington’s efforts to revive the economy.” But as soon as we get our shit together, we’re sending our letters here. You should, too.
