We Call Bullshit: Katherine Heigl Quits Grey’s To Focus On Family
This week, Katherine Heigl revealed to Entertainment Weekly that she’s leaving Grey’s Anatomy with 18 months left on her contract in order to spend more time with her family, husband Josh Kelley and recently-adopted daughter from Korea, Naleigh.
Do you believe her?

Happy birthday to Soon-Yi Previn, who turns 39 today!
It’s hard to believe it’s been 17 years since the affair between then 21 year-old Soon-Yi and her sorta-kinda-stepdad, Woody Allen, 35 years her senior, came to light. And yet despite all of that time passing, and the fact that she and Allen eventually married and adopted two children, Soon-Yi’s name is still synonymous with “sex scandal.” In the last two months alone, the adopted Korean daughter of Mia Farrow and Andre Previn has been associated with starting the Asian trophy wife “trend,” Mackenzie Phillips’s shocking reveal that she had a 10 year-incestuous affair with her biological father John, Roman Polanski’s rape of a 13 year-old girl, and even David Letterman’s affairs with his staffers.
From the outset, Soon-Yi has denied she was ever “raped, molested, or manipulated” by Allen, but that assertion seems to have done little to her legacy. In another 17 birthdays, will she remain one of the reigning icons of impropriety, incest, and sexual misconduct? Only time will tell.

Introducing Naleigh, The Baby Who Might Make You Hate Katherine Heigl A Little Less
Last week Katherine Heigl announced that she was adopting a special-needs baby from Korea, where Heigl’s older sister was also adopted. When I speculated that this might make Heigl less annoying-seeming, most of y’all were, like, “Hellz to the naw” and “Haaaaaaaaaaaaaate herrr.”
Heigl released photos Thursday of baby Naleigh (a nickname for Nancy Leigh, after Heigl’s mother Nancy and Heigl’s adopted sister Margaret “Meg” Leigh) on her foundation website. Can you look at these pics and honestly say you still hate her?
Yeah?
Damn, y’all are cold. Colder than us even!

Nicole Kidman Wants to Adopt Our Vietnamese Baby
An Australian tabloid’s reporting that Nicole Kidman is planning to adopt a baby from Vietnam. Kidman and husband Keith Urban already have one child together, 11 month-old Sunday Rose.
Although Dang Minh Dao, deputy of the Department of International Adoption at the Ministry of Justice in Hanoi, told Australia’s New Idea magazine, “Yes, Nicole Kidman wants a baby from Vietnam. We’ve been approached by the American Embassy. This is very sensitive information. We are keeping it closed,” Kidman has denied the rumor.
But I have it on good authority that the rumor is true. I’ve even learned the identity of the baby Kidman plans to adopt.
And her name is…DIANA!
Some of you may be hatin’ right now, because Diana’s going to have celebrity parents and you’re not, but I, for one, am totally stoked. Because this means that 1) I’m finally going to Australia, the last continent I have yet to visit besides Antarctica, 2) I’ll probably get to ride in the Kidman-Urban jet there, and 3) I’m going to be able to call Keith “uncle” and Nicole “auntie” from now on.
