Chang Chang Is Here To Cheer Up Your Tuesday

October 12th, 2010 | 8 comments | Posted by Jen

Y’all, I just read that Tuesday is the unhappiest day of the week. Which has made me really–you guessed it–unhappy. But here’s a little something to turn our collective frown upside down.

She goes by “Chang Chang.”

She’s twelve years old.

And she whips her hair back and forth, she whips her hair back and forth…

I don’t even know if she’s Asian, but it hardly matters, because we’ll draft her one way or another, and convince her to be our official DISGRASIAN choreographer-in-residence, wherein she’ll teach us how to whip our hair on our smoke breaks.

Watch more Chang Chang videos on YouTube here and here.

Thanks, Bassey and Erica!

It Ain’t Over ’til the Fat Lady Does the Robot

The online dance battle to end all online dance battles (in the long, venerable history of online dance battles) between the Miley & Mandy Cru and the ACDC (Adam/Chu-Dance Crew) is going LIVE.

I don’t really know what that means, but the latest installment from the ACDC should give you an idea of what’s to come:

To see the M&M video that preceded this, featuring cameos by Ryan Seacrest, Carson Daly (doing a wicked Running Man), magician David Blaine, and the Harajuku Girls (sans their big-boned, blonde owner), click here.

Name: Kaba Modern

Occupation: Dance Crew

Known for: Giving the dopest performance last week on MTV’s “America’s Best Dance Crew” (yes, we watch the show and it rules) to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” doing cool stuff with their hands in routines, “Tut-in’,” emerging as the ones to beat.

Learn more about Kaba Modern, which formed in 1992 at UC Irvine, here. Catch them on Randy Jackson Presents…America’s Best Dance Crew on Thursdays, 10 ET/7 PT. Warning: Kaba Modern is as addictive as J.C. Chasez, one of the judges, is a windbag.
