Willing Suspasian of Disbelief

I may be the last person in the world to have done it, but I went to see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix last night. Quite frankly, it rocked. Intense, fantastic, emotional, frightening… arguably the best Potter movie yet.

Yeah, yeah, I know. Some of you have problems with the Potter movies… they’re riddled with inconsistencies, they unrealistically threaten the lives of their young characters on a daily basis, they’re ridiculum–er, ridiculous. I get it. Some of you hate magic. You hate adorable kids. You hate flying animals. Fine.

Me, I have but one gripe from last night’s flick:

In a moment of admiration, cutie patootie Cho Chang applauds Harry’s magical teaching, then confesses her learning weakness: “I’ve never been able to study anything before.”

SOME THINGS I AM WILLING TO OVERLOOK, BUT A LIE LIKE THIS, I CANNOT!

See More things Harry here.
