Death Burger: The Windows 7 Whopper

October 27th, 2009 | 7 comments | Posted by Jen

In an effort to promote the debut of Windows 7 last week in Japan, Microsoft partnered up with Burger King to offer this monstrosity, the Windows 7 Whopper:

Seven Whopper patties, 1.7 lbs of meat, and 2,120 calories for 777 yen.

So what this tells me about Microsoft’s latest operating system is…

  1. Windows 7 is messy.
  2. Windows 7 will make me puke.
  3. Windows 7 is bad for me.
  4. Microsoft ad people suck.
  5. Windows 7 will give me diabeetus.
  6. Windows 7 is trying to kill me.
  7. Windows 7 is for sad people.

Great ad campaign, guys!

Aloha! And Aloha!

March 31st, 2009 | 0 comments | Posted by Diana

Guys, I’m moving to Hawaii. I’m leaving to go eat tiny, delicious hamburger sliders at The Counter. That is, The Counter in Honolulu, Hawaii. If anyone wants my place here in LA, It’s got a ridiculous simultaneous view of Downtown and the Hollywood sign, two avocado trees, two orange trees, an expansive yard, and (sadly) a very annoying neighbor.

Why move, you ask? I just like burgers.

Either that, or I just like first-time restaurateurs:

Mmmmmmmmm…

Anybody else hungry? Flights to Honolulu are cheap!

Padma Makes My Toes Carl

March 26th, 2009 | 0 comments | Posted by Diana

Admittedly, I questioned Padma Lakshmi’s ability to whet my appetite in one of those vile, slobbery, ketchupy, digestive sound-filled Carl’s Jr./Hardee’s commercials.

Quite frankly, I was right. Not even Padma could make me hungry for a sloppy Bacon Western Thickburger, especially not by spilling and licking barbecue sauce/meat juice off of her calf. But I must say…

…she does have a truly special way with a burger. And I want to fuck that burger. I want to fuck that burger RIGHT NOW.

Thank you, Jasmine!
