Without question, MLK Day should be observed as day of remembrance and celebration–Dr. King’s peaceful, powerful activism for civil liberties and justice during the 1960s is one of the proudest memories in this country’s history.

Remembering Dr. King, it is hard to forget the pained words of friend Bobby Kennedy as he delivered the April 4, 1968 statement on King’s death to a crowd of confused, angry, hurt, lost Americans.

Ugh. I just lost my appetite.

Wait one Gap cotton pickin’ minute!

I thought Jeremy Piven had been banned from all of Nobu Matsuhisa restaurants, a fitting punishment for tipping an esteemed sushi chef with a filthy Entourage DVD.

So what was that derelict doing disturbing the sushi peace by fighting with his mother Friday night at NYC’s Nobu? Has someone hugged it out with him? Doesn’t anyone realize that he doesn’t respect the roe? Who is manning the reservation desk at this joint!?

Disrespecting your parents could not be less Asian. Disrespecting Nobu, even more so.

Name: BJ Penn (aka The Prodigy, Baby Jay, Jay Dee)

Age: 30

Occupation: Mixed Martial Artist

How you know him: He was the first American-born World Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt Champion and coaches on Spike’s The Ultimate Fighter 5 reality show.
