Pretty Girrrls Make Boxes
During last night’s episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Ru announced one of my favorite challenges evvvaaarrr: each queen making their box pretty!
Nobody likes a boring box!
It was a PRETTY BOX exxxtravaganza, where Ru kept asking about the BOXES and cooing over the BOXES and delighting over scented BOXES and talking about how important a queen’s BOX is! After all, what’s more important than a drag queen’s box, you tell me? Nothin’!
GENIUS.
During the challenge, I was not surprised to see “Tyra” gettin’ bitchy with all of the other ladies, and complaining that everyone was copying her (she does so every time).

Copycat Jindal
Bobby Jindal is writing a book!
He’s reached an agreement with Regnery Publishing, which has published the works of Newt Gingrich, Chuck Norris, and Ann Coulter, to write a book that mixes, according to Jindal, “lessons I’ve learned throughout my life” and policy issues. The book is slated for release in 2010, a year before Louisiana’s gubernatorial election.
Jindal was going to title the book, Dreams from My Father, until he was told that that title had already been taken. The Louisiana governor is currently trying to decide between Hey! I’m Brown and the Child of Immigrants, Too! and Piyush Jindal Is Also a Funny Name and If You Squint Really Hard at the TV and Cover Your Ears, You Just Might Mistake Me for You-Know-Who (Although Probably Not).

Maddox Jolie-Pitt: Gun Nut?
Overheard in Entertainment Weekly:
“For Mother’s Day, [Maddox] drew a machine gun, and Brad had it made into a necklace, which is really sweet. It’s really cute. I think it’s really good!”
Cute, indeed, although judging by this picture taken in December, not entirely original:
