Wherein My Halloween Costume Is Revealed + GIVEAWAY
This will inspire eyerolls from those with meme fatigue but, you know, I just had to.
Here’s a full-length shot:
Some kid asked me at a party what the hairbrush and (red) chopsticks were for and I reflexively said: “For beating my ungrateful children.” That’s also a report card tucked into my apron!
Finally, here’s me oddly channeling Gene Simmons sans lizard tongue.
Now, onto the GIVEAWAY part!
First, I’m parting with the Forever 21 tiger platforms, which were kinda my favorite part of the costume. They’re a size 39, though I normally wear a 38 so they could work if you’re anywhere between an 8 and 9. They’re surprisingly comfy and worn just once last night, but they’ve already got two little nicks in the back of one shoe and the soles look a bit flimsy. But they’re FREE people! To the first gal who emails us their own dope Halloween costume pic!
The second thing I’m giving away is the Urban Outfitters tiger/zebra skirt. It’s a size S but stretchy. Super comfy, too, and it makes your ass look good. Worn only once as well! Same rules apply: email us your Halloween costume pic, stripey skirt is yours.
Please specify which Tiger Mom item you’re gunning for.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN, MY UNGRATEFUL CHILDREN!
[UPDATE: The shoes and skirt are now spoken for! As anticipated, y'all love FREE stuff!!]

Wow! Love the “TIGER” face, the whole outfit is super. Great Job!
Girl, you do funny things to me. Like wanting to practice violin.
Classic, what details. Luvin it.
Rowr, Jen, you win Halloween. Where’s your Tiger Cub though? Oh right, she’s at home previewing next week’s lessons, not wasting time collecting candy, right? Hairbrush for discipline–nice American touch. A feather duster would have been old school Chinese.
In my house, old school was the flyswatter (hard end). Funny how I don’t have one of those lying around.
