He is a great player and I really admire his foundation. Kids over there have it especially tough if they happen to be bi-racial; and it was funny to see so many people over there claiming him after he won the MVP. It was nicely contrasted with Hines crying because he remembered how he and his mother had it so tough due to the teasing and ostracism they endured in his younger days.

Because of my hatred for football I want to hate Hines too…But I just can’t.
I wonder what issues he’s going to tackle first.

Correction, it’s tough if they happen to be bi-racial with a black parent. If he was half-white, the Koreans would have made him a pop star and worshipped the ground he walked on. Us Asians are self-hating and racist that way.
