BIRTHDAY CELEBRASIAN! Slash

Happy birthday to His Awesomeness, Slash, an esteemed honorasian who turns 45 tomorrow. Like many mythical creatures, Slash is practically ageless, timeless, and as mysteriously cool as when he first started rocking faces off at Madame Wong’s in ’84.
He will always be an inspirasian to us! We hope those hot fingers get a rest from axe-rocking, just for one day, so that Slash can celebrate the big 4-5 properly–with both fists wrapped around vodka bottles.

As a whole G-n-R were pretty cool. At least the first album which I bought on tape at a flea market, and ended up somehow playing backwards all the way home in my ’74 neon green Opel Manta and then spat out of my tape deck like the losing end of a Mexican knife fight. Not a great introduction, but when able to listen to AFD properly, it rocked very well and epitomized 1980′s L.A, right? Sadly, Slash (Born Saul Hudson and raised in Stoke-on Trent!) ended up being a cartoon character of himself, puts out lame-o records in doofy bands and now pretends to be cool. His shtick is tiresome, but happy birthday anyway. Don’t even get me started on Geddy Lee.
He’s also posing w/an Epiphone. Must be a promo shot as he endorses Gibson guitars.
Standing ovation from me for naming Slash an honorasian. He is a rock star. Well, in a figurative sense too.
the first time i saw him, i was working at this private elementary school where he was going to enroll his son. i didn’t know who he was so i thought, “who is this wannabe rock star loser with permed hair, tattoos, and piercings walking around like he owns the place?” well, turns out, i was the loser and he was slash. oops!
@jeshykah HAHAHAHA!
