The aptly-named Loving never considered herself a political activist:
“The preacher at my church classified me with Rosa Parks. I don’t feel like that. Not at all. What happened, we really didn’t intend for it to happen. What we wanted, we wanted to come home.”
She’s a true inspiration to us and our belief that you don’t necessarily need to picket in the streets to create change, and, sometimes, the most personal choices you make happen to be the most political.
