Sheriff Lee Keeps A Ragin’

Bad news for people who love portly, racist, Ragin’ Casian lawmen who look like Muppets. Sheriff Harry Lee of Jefferson Parish (a New Orleans suburb) announced last week that his leukemia has returned. The controversial Lee, 74, who has occupied his post since 1979 and never lost an election, had undergone chemo earlier this year at Stanford and said that his leukemia was in remission. Sheriff Lee still plans to seek reelection in October.

I don’t know, dude. Maybe it’s time to step down.
