As you all know by now, Al Gore’s 24 year-old son, Al III, was arrested yesterday in California for illegal drug possession, after getting pulled over for driving his Prius at 100 mph on the 405. The NY Times reports:
The deputy (who pulled over III) found less than an ounce of marijuana and prescription pills that included the narcotic Vicodin, the addictive sleep and anxiety aids Valium, Xanax and Soma, and the amphetamine Adderall. “He doesn’t have a prescription for any of these pills,” Mr. Amormino said, “and that’s what makes it illegal.”
Day-um. Pot, Vicodin, Valium, Xanax, Soma, and Adderall, Number Three? Guess you’re the FUN ONE in the family.
But, hey. Look on the bright side, Number Three. At least you were driving to kill…in a Prius. Surely that fact will make this sad story a little less, um, inconvenient.
