Hu Jia, an AIDS activist, and his wife Zeng Jingyan, a blogger who was named to the Time 100 for chronicling her and her husband’s harassment by the Chinese government, have been placed under house arrest. The couple had been headed to Hong Kong and then Europe:

Arianna Huffington recently called Zeng “Tiananmen 2.0.” If you can read Chinese, check out Zeng’s blog.
